GoGreenNext Future Proofing Urban Health

GoGreenNext is an EU funded Horizon Europe project with the ambition of supporting cities and regions to achieve their climate targets. The project will reach this goal by implementing original nature-based approaches such as pop-up parks or natural living rooms. We have 19 partners across the globe including Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Canada and the USA. In our pilot areas Cork (Ireland), Klagenfurt (Austria), Malta (Malta) and Päijät- Häme Region (Finland), we will address biodiversity-climate-planetary challenges by advancing policy through evidence-based development.
We work in four different biogeographical locations across Europe; Cork (Ireland), Klagenfurt (Austria), Malta (Malta) and Päijät- Häme Region (Finland). To be successful we contribute across different levels from municipal to national and in different climate types. GoGreen Next conducts research at the city level for both Cork and Klagenfurt, regional in Finland and at the national level in Malta.
